Where is the meeting point for the Free Tour?
All our Free Tours start next to the drummer statue, between Plaza Sarriegi and Calle San Juan, by the Bretxa Market.
Look for our blue and white striped umbrella at Plaza Sarriegi nº9.
Do I need to book in advance?
It’s not mandatory, but strongly recommended. Our groups are small (maximum 6 people) and often fill up.
Booking online is free and secures your spot.
Are these free tours conducted on foot?
Yes, our free tours in Sebastian, known as free walking tours, are held twice a day, and consist of a walking tour to get to know the city like a true local. If you would like to visit the city in a different way, we are part of a sustainable and local tourism network, and you can book a bike tour with Bike Rental.
Why are bookings limited to 6 people?
We accept a maximum of 6 people per booking to keep the tour respectful and enjoyable.
Larger groups may affect the experience, so we recommend private tours.
Got a bigger group? Contact us (info@freewalkingtoursansebastian.com) and we’ll help.
Are tours cancelled due to rain?
No. Tours go ahead rain or shine.
San Sebastián gets rain often, but our guides make it enjoyable.
Bring weather-appropriate clothes and comfy shoes.
How much do people usually tip on a Free Tour?
It’s voluntary. Most guests tip €10 to €15 per person, depending on satisfaction.
You decide what the experience is worth.
Are the tours accessible for people with reduced mobility?
Yes. All our tours are adapted.
The tour is on foot through accessible streets.
